The difference between a rivet nut gun and a rivet gun
A rivet nut gun is a tool used to install and remove blind rivet nuts. It usually consists of a gun body and an adjustable spindle head with a rotating nut bracket.MINOVA rivet nut gun clamps and tightens the nut by placing a nut holder on the nut to be installed and then pulling the trigger or turning the handle. This tool is commonly used in machinery manufacturing, automobile maintenance and other situations where nuts need to be frequently installed and removed.

A rivet gun, on the other hand, is a tool used to tighten rivets. It usually consists of a gun body and a jaw set that allows rivets to pass through. MINOVA rivet gun aligns the jaws with the workpiece to be fastened and applies pressure to drive the rivet through the workpiece and base. Rivets are then formed by hammering or compressing the rivets to hold the workpieces together. MINOVA rivet guns are commonly used in metal fabrication, construction, aerospace and other fields to join and fasten two or more workpieces.

Therefore, the rivet nut gun is mainly used to install and remove blind rivet nuts, while the rivet gun is mainly used to fasten rivets. They differ in their working principles and areas of application, so it is important to choose the right tool for a specific task.
