Solid Rivets: Solid rivets are the most common type and consist of a single piece of metal. They are installed by heating the rivet and hammering the tail to create a secure joint.
Blind Rivets (Pop Rivets): Also known as pop rivets, blind rivets are used when access to the backside of the workpiece is limited. They have a mandrel that pulls the tail into the rivet body, creating a tight connection. Tubular Rivets: Tubular rivets, as the name suggests, have a hollow structure similar to blind rivets. However, unlike blind rivets, tubular rivets do not feature a mandrel. These rivets are often used in applications where a water- or airtight seal is required.
Split Rivets: Split rivets have two separate legs that are inserted into pre-drilled holes and spread apart to create a secure fastening.
